Sea view Suite

Your sea view suite is one of the finest rooms in the hotel. Much more spacious and with a view that is simply breathtaking. Your suite has a separate sitting area for relaxing and plenty of desk space for working – or maybe just for planning your next visit. How about waking up in a super snuggly 6’ double bed and gazing out across Douglas Bay, or watching the ferry leave the Port of Douglas right in front of you. In the evening you can enjoy a glass of wine in the luxury of your suite and enjoy the twinkling lights of Douglas, the illuminated Tower of Refuge and the multi-coloured light show of the Fountain in the Victorian sunken gardens below.

Double or Twin

Stay in a standard double or twin room at the Ellan Vannin and you won’t be disappointed. Your room is rear facing but you can still enjoy the magnificent views from the Hotel’s cosy lounge or dining room. Your room has a large 6’ super king bed or twin beds and a modern bathroom with fluffy towels and toiletries supplied just for you. Modern light oak furniture, a large flat screen TV and your own hospitality tray to set you up for a relaxed stay. If you are visiting for work then you will love that your room has a desk and complimentary superfast WiFi.

Single Rooms

Some of our single rooms have sea views and some don’t. They have one thing in common however and that is they are super comfy and very well equipped. Your single room has a desk for working, plenty of electric sockets and USB charging points for your devices and superfast WiFi makes staying in touch with the office easy. The single rooms in the Ellan Vannin Hotel are ideal for leisure vacations too.

Ground floor Double or Twin room

This room is ideal for Guests who are less mobile. Rear facing and situated on the ground floor with a luxury en suite shower room. Large flat screen TV and large 6’ super king bed or two single beds. This room is very popular and Guests tell us they love how quiet it is and that they don’t have any stairs.

Sea view Double or Twin room

Large, stylish and cosy room with bay window overlooking the magnificent sea front. The double room has a super comfy 6’ double bed and the twin room has two equally comfy 3’ single beds. Your bed is dressed with Egyptian cotton sheets and snuggly pillows and duvet. The large screen LCD TV is connected to the internet with your own keyboard giving you endless possibilities for entertainment. The really special thing about this room is that you can relax in the reclining leather armchair and gaze out at the Irish Sea in all its many moods, you might be lucky and even spot a pod of dolphins passing by.

Excellent Hotel with wonderful staff.
The Hotel is in a great position right on the sea front ,the rooms are very clean and have all the things you would want such coffee with cakes or biscuits ,The beds are so comfy and an iron and board the breakfast was super to much for even me to eat. It was also very pleasant to have a drink in lounge with George to serve you .I found the Staff to be more than helpful polite and made you feel welcome and with Yankees they do some tempting food .in all it was amazing thankyou Ellan Vannin See you again soon I hope.

Amazing !!
I booked this hotel as a treat for myself and family, following a traumatic few weeks.
Turned up expecting a nice hotel, following a recommendation from a friend. I was not expecting the amazing views across the bay as the exceptionally comfortable rooms. I was blown away by the quality of the facilities and attention to detail. The beds were enormous, as was the shower also!
My sister and her husband had a suite that slept 3 people. The extra bed was in a little "office" area off the bedroom, offering privacy to additional guests. Both bedrooms had lovely armchairs looking out to sea, which we were happy to sit and chat in after our trip to the theatre.
All in all a perfect hotel and I will be recommending this to everyone.

Fantastic location close to local shops, beautiful seafront, fresh and good food and clean environment
I went on a business trip and stayed in Ellan Vannin hotel for 2 weeks. Immediately that I booked, the hotel staff communicated with me and I even pre-order my food and it was ready, still hot when I arrived from airport.
The reception staff was great as I was welcome to the hotel and staff assisted me to take my luggage to my room.
The area was clean. The staff are very friendly and professional. There was a problem with the plumbing of my room and they organized for a plumber immediately and even offer me a bigger room.
The food was fantastic, fresh foods and taste was superb.

l cannot recommend this hotel enough we had a lovely time,just chilling over the last few days the atmosphere is really friendly the meals were the best, staff were also great nothing was too much trouble, l would recommend it, l am gluten free and they catered for me very well and Sunday lunch great, have booked for another 2 days in august, thank you all the staff.
